This autumn we are taking i-fix on the road and giving it a tour of Beesley and Fildes’ Merseyside merchants.

We relish working closely with merchants so we get to understand their specific needs better and they, in turn, learn how to get the most sales potential from our i-fix range.

With seven branches across the North West, Beesley and Fildes will present us with the stage for i-fix’s greatest show to date.

There’s no disputing that the best way to learn about something is to have practical experience, which is exactly what we are aiming to provide.

Starting mid morning, we will be conducting hands-on seminars with each of our six products and providing the merchant teams with a chance to riddle me with as many questions as they like – and I can answer.

From our pothole repair solution to our Speedy Paving Grout, the entire range will be put through its paces under the invaluable weather security of a gazebo. We can bank on my technical knowledge but we definitely can’t bank on the weather.

The turn of autumn and winter can bring a slower pace of trade for merchants, regardless of how well established, so expert knowledge gained from days like ours can really help boost sales in challenging times.

As part of our merchant support, we’ll be supplying in-store literature and demonstration boards that can inform the customer and provide the tools necessary to secure sales.

While profit margins have been looking somewhat healthier for merchants in recent times, they are far from what they once were so there’s no room for complacency.

We’re excited to be showcasing our products this new season and helping merchants reap the rewards well into 2014.
