As a result of a competition to find the design for its 2021 Christmas Card, MKM Building Supplies has confirmed eleven-year-old Summer-Lynn, from Kent, as this year’s winner.

Featuring a Christmas tree decked in construction-wear and equipment, Summer-Lynn’s  card will be sent to more than 10,000 customers and associates of MKM across the country.

Kate Tinsley, CEO of MKM Building Supplies, commented: “Summer-Lynn’s design has really captured MKM’s spirit; we love the friendly character with a hard hat, safety boots and all the right tools for the job.

“When the competition was launched we hoped that it would help to spread some Christmas cheer and get people into the Christmas, spirit so I think Summer-Lynn’s design is perfect.

“We were really impressed with the standard of entries for this year’s Christmas card competition; I don’t think anyone was expecting the volume of amazing designs we received from children right across the UK.

“In fact, the standard was so high we struggled to pick just one winner – that’s why we have decided that in addition to our winner, the back of the Christmas cards will feature some of our other favourite entries.”
