MKM Building Supplies is launching a competition inviting children from across the UK to design its official Christmas card.

To kick off the competition, MKM is inviting tradespeople to get their children involved by designing a card that shows what Christmas spirit means to them. Children are invited to create a design illustrating ‘The Spirit of Christmas’, which is the theme given to the competition.

The winning design will appear on Christmas cards sent to MKM customers, suppliers and partners. The competition will accept entries in three age categories, 0-5, 6-10, and 11-16 year old, and the winner of each category will get £100 in vouchers. An overall winner will see their design in print on 10,000 Christmas cards.

Kate Tinsley, CEO of MKM Building Supplies, said: “We hope the competition will help get everyone into the spirit of Christmas this year, it’s a great opportunity to get festive and have some fun.

“All our staff work so hard, and do such amazing work supporting the local areas where we operate, so it’s great to be engaging with communities nationwide via this campaign. We have a lot of incredibly loyal customers across the MKM family and this is a great way to celebrate them as well. We can’t wait to see the designs we receive!”

The competition deadline is Sunday the 14th of November. Entries need to include the name, age as of 1 December, and date of birth of the entrant, as well as a guardian’s address, email and contact number. Entries should be submitted as a A4 JPEGs or PDFs.
