NORWICH: Ridgeons' third annual Supplier Awards were held last week, and was for the first time combined with a 'meet the branch manager' style event.
Thirty-one suppliers attended along with 21 Ridgeons branch managers. Away from the busy stores, the managers and suppliers could talk uninterrupted with not only the suppliers, but among themselves.
The proceedings were called to a temporary halt for the awards, which were judged on real day-to-day criteria by the branch managers. Some of these criteria included consistancy, quality, after-sales support and point-of-sale.
Ceramic Tiles took the Lightside Award, while Stonemarket received the Heavyside Award, and Toolbank took the ultimate Supplier of the Year Award.
