LONDON: Over 800 dinner guests enjoyed a legendary night of rock at the annual NMBS dinner dance, held on 23 October 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Guests enjoyed a three course meal in luxurious surroundings, and were treated to an amazing performance by the Blues and Royals, one of Her Majesty's finest military bands.

Even in these tough economic times guests dug deep into their pockets and donated over £12 000 for the industry charities, The Rainy Day Trust and Crash, which also included an extra special, anonymous donation of £2000 received on the night. The charity raffle prize of a Samsung 3D full HD TV, donated by Makita, was won by Sally Valentine from George Tufts.

The evening was complete with performances from the “Legends of Rock” tribute acts which included Madonna, Robbie Williams and Queen, which ensured everyone spent the night dancing away.

NMBS managing director, Chris Hayward commented: “This year’s dinner dance was bigger and better than ever. I would like to take the opportunity to thank our members and suppliers for their great support throughout the year, for without it this special night would not be possible.”
