LONDON: Following the successful launch of the independent merchant locator application for the iPhone and Smart Phones on the Android system, NMBS have now launched a Blackberry version.
Available through the Blackberry App World by searching ‘Independents Locator’ the app will provide Blackberry users with access to location details for all NMBS Members. It will work in the same way as the iPhone and Android apps in that a user can locate an Independent either by using their phone’s GPS or by inputting their Post Code. The application provides the user with clear directions, which includes a map as well as a telephone number and website address.
The 'I Love Independents' campaign aims to promote the major benefits for the tradesman to trade with Independent Merchants, these include:
