UK: Grafton Merchanting GB has appointed Andy Gribble as its Plumbase managing director from 1 June 2011. Mr Gribble has worked within the industry for over 25 years, holding senior management positions with several national plumbers merchants’ groups.
He has played a key role at board level for a number of major national organisations in the industry and has a broad cross-section of experience including heating and plumbing, bathrooms, plastics, ironmongery, kitchens, heavyside and timber. More recently, Mr Gribble has been actively involved in the renewables sector.
He will bring a new ‘edge’ to the leadership of Plumbase and will be keen to embrace new routes to market for the plumbing, heating, renewable and bathroom sectors.
