NORWICH: Water heating specialist Heatrae Sadia has appointed Neil Thompson as key accounts manager and Anthony Gravestock as research and development manager.
Neil Thompson has a wealth of experience in the commercial hot water and drinking water sectors, including a thorough understanding of the routes to market.
He spent seven years of his career selling domestic and commercial water heating and drinking water products to merchants, wholesalers, contractors, public and private sector end users.
Commenting on his new role Mr Thompson said: “I'm keen to ensure Heatrae Sadia develops its existing position as market leader in the domestic and commercial water heating and drinking water sectors, and to develop our market strength with new innovative products, supplied solely through our merchant and wholesale trading partners, as well as ensuring we grow our market share with our existing brands and products. The Heatrae Sadia and Santon brands are well known across our industry and I see this new role as a fantastic opportunity to further establish our relationships with national merchants and wholesalers.”
Research and development manager Anthony Gravestock also brings a wealth of experience to his position. He has worked at Heatrae Sadia for eight years, as assistant project engineer and senior project engineer. Throughout his time at Heatrae Sadia Anthony has been involved in developing a wide range of products and worked on delivering the upgrade to Heatrae Sadia’s flagship product, Megaflo eco.
Commenting on his new role Mr Gravestock said: “I am responsible for the research and development functions at the Norwich site, which is BDR Thermea’s centre of excellence for stainless steel. As well as developing group processes and delivering stainless steel heating solutions for the group, I’m also responsible for investigating innovative heating solutions for the future as part of Heatrae Sadia’s continuous development. You could say Heatrae Sadia is in my blood – my father used to be sales and marketing director.”
