CROWBOROUGH: Plumbase will launch its dedicated spares business, Sparesbase, in Crowborough, East Sussex, on 10 September 2012. Crowborough will be the first dedicated spare parts store under the Sparesbase brand, which offers boiler and heating spares, solar spares and controls.

Sparesbase has been born from the integration of Shoreheat, the UK’s largest independent spares stockist, and Time & Temperature, an existing Plumbase spares business, resulting in 37 Sparesbase stores. Sparesbase also aims to open additional stores within existing Plumbase branches over the coming months, taking the total to 67 stores nationally, with further expansion also planned.

The business guarantees excellent stock availability, offering over 15,000 spares parts, supported by knowledgeable staff. In addition to a vast range of parts for in-store collection, Sparesbase also provides a 45-minute dispatch delivery service for in-stock items, same day or next day delivery and a hassle-free returns policy as part of its commitment to customer satisfaction. New products and services will also be introduced later this year.

“It’s all about supporting our customers and helping them work smarter,” said Aidan Ogle, Sparesbase business development director. “The business model came around from listening to their requirements, and we are confident the Sparesbase offering will meet their needs.”

“Plumbase has a strong reputation for both a professional and knowledgeable service, and the Sparesbase offering will complement existing businesses within the Plumbase Group,” said Andy Gribble, plumbase managing director.
