Alumasc Group plc has announced the appointment of Pamela Bingham as Chief Executive Officer.

Bingham has over 20 years’ experience at international manufacturing businesses, most recently as CEO of Eriks UK & Ireland, a €370 million revenue industrial services business, where she was responsible for leading its commercial and operational growth strategy from 2023 until its successful sale by Lone Star Funds in 2025.

Before Eriks, Bingham was CEO of Glen Dimplex Heating and Ventilation, the largest division of the Glen Dimplex Group, with revenues of €500 million. She also held Managing Director positions at CRH, The Weir Group and Rotork. She also served as a Non-executive Director of Tyman from 2018 until 2024. She holds a law degree from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Bingham will join Alumasc’s Board on 2 March 2026 as CEO Designate and will take over as CEO on the retirement of the current Group Chief Executive, Paul Hooper, on 31 March 2026, after 25 years’ service and commitment to Alumasc.

Vijay Thakrar, Chair of Alumasc, said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Pamela as the new CEO of the Group. She brings extensive commercial experience as well as a record of value creation through organic and inorganic growth, employee engagement, digital transformation and customer loyalty, all of which will be helpful in leading Alumasc during its next stage of growth.

"After 25 years with the business, we will be sad to see Paul Hooper leave us and are grateful for the significant contribution he made over that time. He leaves a strong and agile Group, well positioned to capitalise on the opportunities in its markets.”

Pamela Bingham, CEO designate, said: “I am delighted to be joining Alumasc at such an exciting time in its journey. It is a unique company that positively contributes to the decarbonisation of the building and construction sector with its sustainable building products and innovative products and solutions. I look forward to working with Vijay, the Board, Alumasc’s management team and our people to build upon Alumasc’s successful growth in recent years.”
