Mallusk-headquartered firm tastes success at the AIB Business Eye Awards and National Buying Group’s Awards.
Mallusk-headquartered Brett Martin can celebrate two notable award wins in a matter of weeks.
At the AIB Business Eye Awards in Belfast, it was named Family Business of the Year and highly commended in Company of the Year.
The AIB Business Eye Awards, now in their 19th year, took place at the ICC in Belfast city centre. The awards celebrated outstanding achievements across a diverse range of sectors.
Ten of Northern Ireland’s leading businesses were on the shortlist for Family Business of the Year, with Brett Martin coming out on top.
Laurence Martin, Chairman of Brett Martin, said: “We are delighted to win Family Business of The Year in what has been a landmark year for the company as we expand into the US with our new manufacturing facility and invest into our local Mallusk headquarters.
“It is fantastic to have all of the hard work and dedication of our team recognised through this award.”
Brett Martin also celebrated being named Supplier of the Year (more than £5 million) at the National Buying Group’s Awards for the second year in a row.
The company received its award as part of the NBG’s recent two-day conference, exhibition and gala awards dinner, which was held at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow.
The awards evening is a full partner programme that isn’t just voted for based on turnover, as additional factors – including deals, competitiveness, engagement, communication and service – are also taken into consideration.

2025 has been a landmark year for Brett Martin - it invested some £15 million in its Mallusk factory and opened its first international manufacturing plant in the US. It also completed a wide range of major customer projects across a range of sectors including completing stadia projects for Premier League football clubs, providing roofing for a number of the top stadia including Manchester City’s Etihad and the extension of Liverpool’s Anfield ground.
This Mallusk factory expansion marked the largest single investment in the company’s history and reinforces Brett Martin’s long-term commitment to its Northern Ireland manufacturing base.
