Dulux Decorator Centre has launched a new store format to, it says, offer greater speed, convenience, and flexibility for busy customers.

Dulux Decorator Centre currently has four stores in the new format. Placing a strong focus on pre-order and collection services, the stores aim to enable decorators to get their hands on the products they need quickly and efficiently, maximising the time they can spend on site.

The four stores include two brand new stores and locations in Balham and Stevenage, and two existing sites, which have been refitted into the new format: Reigate and Brighton Freshfields.

These stores are designed to support a more agile and accessible customer experience, by customers able to order online for a click and collect service or arrange a delivery straight to site.

An expert team will be on hand to support customers in each location – and decorators can also use in-store digital screens to browse the range and find out more about the products on offer.

Each store will include:

  • A trade-counter-style layout, with no traditional shopfloor
  • A carefully thought out range of essential products
  • Digital browsing terminals for key product and service information
  • Internal collection lockers to support seamless pick-up

Sarah Atkins, Managing Director at Dulux Decorator Centre, said, "We understand that decorator needs are constantly evolving. In times like these, they need a partner they can rely on for speed, reliability and ease.

"Our new store format is about providing faster, more flexible access to products, particularly in town centre locations where accessibility and on-site parking are more limited. By offering the same tailored service with added convenience, we’re helping our customers spend less time picking up supplies, and more time doing what they do best.”
