Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke high end joinery products they are renowned for their high end products and commercial success within the industry.

Due to continued growth & expansion they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. As Sales Executive you will be the first point of call for key customers and be expected to deliver outstanding customer services , and you will be the responsible for both developing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities .

Reporting to: SALES DIRECTOR  

Working within a team that continually works together in promoting the company’s high end Joinery Products & Components into the Merchant / DIY Retail Sector, and be responsible for the Key Account Management of National Builders Merchants.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop both new & existing clients accounts
  • Build sales, pursue leads, and follow on enquiries
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
  • Manage and grow Merchant Trading Agreement
  • Travel to clients, both existing & new to maintain, strengthen and develop relationships.
  • Generate new business and be involved in the company’s growth and expansion

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required 

  • Proven sales experience in the Merchant Sector
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Knowledge & strong experience dealing with the buying Groups  
  • Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
  • Good IT skills & PC literate.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills   

 

Location/Area: West Midlands
