Independent business Lords Builders Merchants celebrates 20 years of activity at its Park Royal branch.
Founded in 1985, the Lords Group has followed an extensive growth plan across all divisions. Lords Builders Merchants currently operates from 12 branches across West London and the Home Counties with more expansion plans in place.
The branch at Park Royal opened in 2001 and was the first heavy side location in the business. Since then, it has expanded into a three-acre site with three buildings covering 30,000 square feet and became a key building materials distributor in West London.
While the branch extended and the business has grown exponentially, the culture remained the same. Managing Director Jamie Herd, who has been part of Lords Builders Merchants since the very beginning in 2001, said: “People have always been and will always be at the centre of the company. We focus on building long-lasting relationships with customers and employees alike, preserving the family culture we started with.”
