CHESTER: The Lord Mayor of Chester Councillor Eleanor Johnson officially opened the new Eurocell Building Plastics branch on Sealand Trade Park.

Eurocell relocated to larger premises following demand for its building plastics products from both trade and DIY customers in the Chester area.

The new Sealand Trade Park site gave Eurocell a chance to rebrand the store with its new corporate livery – the first new-look of its 115-plus branches nationally.

The branch on Hartford Way, Off Bumpers Lane, has an extended trade counter and extensive product display area. These allow customers to browse among the products. As well as having a record number of products on display in the trade counter, Chester offers over 4000 plastics building products, many of them manufactured by Eurocell.

Councillor Johnson said: "It is wonderful to hear of businesses that are choosing Chester as a location and creating new employment opportunities in the town."

Paul Dixson, regional manager of the company, said: "Eurocell is unique in manufacturing many of the products we offer in our branches. That means customers gain all the benefits of buying direct, including excellent value for money, great service and consistent quality assurance."

New product ranges available at Chester and the company's other branches include a 110mm underground drainage system that is suitable for domestic and commercial building work, along with a new range of door canopies and slates, which consist of just four pre-built and pre-drilled components in a kit.
