Russell Roof Tiles has surpassed its fundraising target for 2025, raising more than £60,000 as part of its 60th, diamond jubilee year.
The firm has boosted its support for good causes, raising a total of £60,448.16 for its community fund Give4Good, which supports local and international organisations, chosen by its staff and close to its three sites.
The Give4Good initiative was launched in 2022 as a way of supporting local initiatives with fun and challenging events championed by staff, suppliers, customers, and partners.
Donations of £8,731.40 each were handed out to charities close to company's Burton sites, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire Blood Bikes, Burton YMCA, Burton Albion Community Trust, and Scropton Riding for the Disabled. In Lochmaben, £4701.53 was presented to Veterans Gardens Dumfries, Sports Drive Unlimited, D&G Canine Rescue Centre, and Lockerbie Wildlife Trust, as well as £6714.44 to the Kenya-based Footprints Family.
Fundraising events have included the Annual Big Quiz, hosted at Burton Albion FC’s Pirelli Stadium in November, which added a record £20,950 to the total.
