This is a pivotal leadership appointment responsible for building and leading a high-performance UK sales engine while supporting international growth. The role combines strategic leadership, team development, market expansion and commercial rigor. You will shape the GTM plan as the company diversifies across multiple high-value verticals and transitions from hardware-led revenues to a software-driven model.

Role Scope
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a growing team of c.10 UK salespeople plus international and marketing resources.
- Set clear performance expectations, structure territories, raise capability and accountability.
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Own UK sales strategy; prioritise target sectors beyond construction (ports, airports, warehousing, agriculture, security).
- Build disciplined forecasting, CRM accuracy (Salesforce), pricing clarity and sector propositions.
- Support major contract negotiations and OEM integration programmes.
Marketing Leadership
- Lead the internal marketing team (c.4) and manage the external creative agency to ensure aligned messaging, content and demand generation.
International Contribution
- Manage international sales resources, shape distributor strategy and support global growth planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven success scaling sales teams (3–10+) in industrial tech, AI vision, IoT, machine control, automation or adjacent technical markets.
- Experience selling complex solutions into multi-stakeholder environments; OEM and Tier 1 engagement advantageous.
- Track record building commercial discipline: pricing, forecasting, segmentation, pipeline rigour.
- Strong people leadership, high energy, entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with pace and ambiguity.
- Based within c.1–1.5 hours of the North West HQ; regular site presence essential.
