The world’s number one composite decking brand Trex has launched a comprehensive range of deck fasteners and accessories that make installation easier and faster and give finished decks a premium, polished look.
The collection of Trex Hideaway® fasteners and tools includes colour-matched screws and plugs as well as specially engineered depth setters and drill bits.

The collection includes:
Trex Hideaway® Colour Match Composite Decking and Fascia Screws, which have been engineered specifically for Trex decks and are available for every Trex line.
The carbon steel screws are resistant to fade and corrosion and feature Phillips’ patented HexStix® technology for a wobble-free drive and an extremely tight fit between screw and drill bit. Their unique design also eliminates mushrooming by shearing away material and removing it while cutting.
Trex Hideaway® Deck Plugs and Fascia Plugs. These are made from the same materials used to create Trex decking and fascia boards and have been carefully crafted to deliver a virtually undetectable finish on all Trex product lines. The range of plugs includes the only Trex-approved plug specially design for use with Trex Enhance scalloped deck boards.
The Trex Hideaway® Depth Setter, designed for use with the Hideaway range of screws and plugs. It enables installers to drill to the correct depth quickly and precisely every time to easily achieve a professional, fastener-free look. It is made from high-quality materials for durability, with protective rubber bumpers to prevent damage to deck surfaces during installation.
Trex Hideaway® Counterbore Bits. These are available in colour-coded options for fastening Trex colour match screws and plugs and have forged spade designs for enhanced durability. An innovative rotating wing on each bit clears debris as it drills to avoid scratches on the deck surface.
The Trex Hideaway® HexStix® Drive Bit, which works seamlessly with the new range of Trex colour match screws to ensure a stable, wobble-free connection between drill and screw every time.
