George Lines Civils & Landscape Merchants open a new branch in Horsham, as Condell does the same at Lords Kings Langley.
Two new branches within Lords Group Trading are now open and ready for business.
Firstly, George Lines Civils & Landscape Merchants has opened a new branch in Horsham, West Sussex - the company’s first depot south of the river.
The branch will be stocking a full range of civils and landscape products such as below ground drainage, precast concrete kerb, paving, block paving, hazard warning slab, linear drainage, manhole covers, gullies, and polystorm units.
The new location will expand the company’s current delivery area, having easy access to counties in the south.
Tim Holton, Group Acquisition & Integration Director, said: “ This branch will be George Lines' third branch in addition to those at Colnbrook and Aylesbury and will enable us to offer a faster and more efficient service to sites in Surrey, Sussex, and Kent.
"George Lines has been trading for over 60 years in the civils industry and the new branch offers us the opportunity to further grow its already established reputation for service and expertise.”
Meanwhile, Condell's new branch in Kings Langley marks the company’s first location north of the river.
Founded in 2006, Condell is a nationwide building supplies distributor, currently operating from Horsham. In April 2021, Lords acquired the majority shareholdings in Condell and have since worked in partnership to supply trades people and merchants.
This new branch offers a full range of specialist products such as Velux roof windows, Catnic and IG steel lintels, drylining, drainage, and insulation.
Jim McMeckan, Condell Director, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to take the business to the next level and further our collaboration with suppliers. I would like to thank our partners at Lords for working closely with us to open the new branch. We are looking forward to servicing customers in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas with specialist building materials.”
