Circulation pumps contain electrical components, and those poorly manufactured or fitted incorrectly can lead to serious hazards, including overheating or electric shock.
Despite an ongoing crackdown, thousands of non-compliant pumps are still entering the UK each year. This poses the additional risk of legal ramifications or prosecution to those purchasing or installing them.
