John Kelly's appointment will help the growth and expansion of company in the future.

Brett Martin has created a new National Specification Manager role within its Plumbing and Drainage division – and has appointed John Kelly from within its ranks to spearhead the drive to create demand and secure specifications in the housing market.

Kelly’s appointment is recognition of the significant contributions that he has already made in the north and central regions of the UK in the four years since he joined the company, according to Sales Director Chris Dawson.

Kelly said: “It’s a privilege for me to take on the role of National Specification Manager for such a forward-thinking company that has a clear vision for the growth of the business.

“Having an extensive range of solutions for the above ground and below ground drainage market, is one thing, but Brett Martin has a very dynamic team internally and externally. This means there is a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to draw from. That collaborative approach means we can focus on supporting contractors and developers through our merchant partners.”

Dawson added: “John has been instrumental in influencing many contractors, architects and ultimately builders’ merchants with their decisions to purchase and has developed a sound framework for this division to progress this further.

“He has proved himself to be a very capable and motivated individual who has been forging ahead working with developers to get Brett Martin systems and products specified for projects.

“We’re seeing significant growth in this area, and increasing our specification capacity – and eventually creating a bigger team – is vitally important.”
