Carvers Building Supplies has named Julian Aleksandrowicz as the winner of its Driver of the Year 2025 award.

Aleksandrowicz secured the title against strong competition across the company’s fleet of drivers, standing out by his exceptional commitment and performance throughout the year.

The award recognises excellence across several key areas including reliability, delivery efficiency, customer service, and punctuality; all of which contributed to the points Julian consistently accumulated over the last 12 months. His dedication to maintaining high standards has made him a standout member of the transport team.

Aleksandrowicz was officially named the winner during a presentation where colleagues and sponsors gathered to celebrate the achievements of the driving team. Other drivers recognised through the Drive of the Year programme included: Kristian Wharton, who received second place, and Pete Brady in third place.

Carvers Transport Manager Steve Haskett praised Aleksandrowicz’s hard work and professionalism, commenting: “This award is well deserved. Julian has worked incredibly hard on behalf of the business and truly represents the ethos of a great driver – well done!”

As part of the award, the winner was presented with a £1,000 holiday voucher, donated by Greenhaus DAF and Treads. In a gesture of generosity, Aleksandrowicz chose to raffle off the voucher to raise funds for local charity Compton Care, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting the wider community.
