A team of Galleon Fixings Group employees, including some from ForgeFix and Harrison & Clough, took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on and raised over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The 11-strong group, joined by friends and family, tackled 26 miles of steep ascents and rugged paths across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough—all within just 11 hours. Battling unpredictable weather including thunder, lightning, and intense heat.

The team completed the route with over 650,000 collective steps and approximately 7,500 calories burned per person.

The event, part of the company’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and charitable giving, highlights the company’s dedication not only to professional excellence but also to making a meaningful difference beyond the workplace.

Michael Brown, CEO at Galleon Fixings Group, praised the effort: “I’m incredibly proud of the team for taking on such a tough challenge with passion and purpose. Their determination reflects the core values we hold at Galleon Fixings —resilience, teamwork, and doing the right thing.

"Raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organisation that makes a vital difference to so many lives, makes this achievement all the more meaningful.”
