Howdens is supporting this year’s event with a range of exciting and family-friendly activities.

Howdens is partnering with CarFest 2021 on the festival’s first ever Kitchen Disco stage.

Created by DJ Chris Evans, CarFest is the UK’s biggest family fundraising festival; having raised over £16.5 million in the last ten years for a selection of UK charity partners including BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief.

Howdens is supporting this year’s event with a range of exciting and family-friendly activities. Situated between the double main stage, this specially adapted Howdens kitchen will be at the heart of the party all weekend. Evans, along with a host of special guests will be ensuring non-stop fun for all the family. The company is also showcasing its retro Howden’s Land Rover vans to transport families back in time.

Anjna Raheja, Show Director of CarFest, said: “It is fantastic news that Howdens is lending its support to CarFest 2021.

“The concept of dancing in a kitchen, in a huge field with lots of other people is weirdly brilliant. It is ideas such as this that helps to keep our festival unique and fun. It means families come back year-on-year and it helps us to raise millions of pounds for charities.”

Sophie Leathley, at Howdens, said: “The kitchen is the heart of any great party and we wanted to recreate the same experience with our kitchen disco experience so that it could be enjoyed by the whole family. While we are having to make some adaptations so that we can fit a lot more people into the space, it will still very much be a recognisable kitchen setting."

The Howdens Kitchen Disco will be touring around the country as part of the CarFest series of festivals and can be enjoyed at CarFest North in July and CarFest South at the end of August. Howdens is also giving away two bundles of six tickets to CarFest North on its Instagram channel between 9 and 16 July 2021.
