Howdens has opened a depot on the island of Jersey; its first in the Channel Islands.

The new depot is on the same model as its mainland counterparts, with products available from local stock across Howdens categories including kitchens, joinery, doors and the newly launched fitted bedrooms. Local tradespeople can take advantage of paint to order kitchens and a free design service.

Andrew Livingston, Chief Executive Officer at Howdens, said: “We’re very excited about bringing our Howdens depots across to the Channel Islands and are confident that our business model is absolutely right for this market.

“We know we can make a real difference in this area by building trusted relationships and supporting the local trade, providing them with exceptional quality, service and convenience that we are known for, which that sets us apart.”

The new depot is based in St. Saviour, which is just outside of the capital, St Helier, and is open six days a week to the trade.
