Huws Gray has published its second sustainability report, as a further step toward its long-term commitment to responsible business practices.

The report highlights progress made in 2024 and introduces a new suite of targets aligned with the four pillars of its strategy: People, Planet, Products, and Principles.

Key milestones in 2024:

  • 10% waste reduction – cutting total waste to 12,439 tonnes and diverting 98% away from landfill.
  • Renewable energy boost – 64% of electricity now from renewable sources, up from 16% in 2023.
  • Long-term goals – aiming to cut Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 50% by 2032, Scope 3 by 35% by 2033, and reduce waste by 45% by 2033.

This progress builds on new initiatives such as Think Green, the ESG Champions programme, and a strategic partnership with the Construction Inclusion Coalition, reinforcing Huws Gray’s commitment to sustainability and inclusion across the industry.

Daksh Gupta, Chief Executive Officer at Huws Gray Group, commented: “This is just the start of our journey. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made to date, but we know there’s more to do. Our long-term commitment is about reducing our impact and supporting customers to build more sustainably — helping us deliver on our purpose of making building better.”
