
Toolstation has announced the appointment of Lakhvir Sanghera as its new Managing Director.
Sanghera will be part of the Group’s leadership team and succeeds current Managing Director, Angela Rushforth, who is retiring after 10 years with the Group.
Sanghera has extensive commercial experience who has led large teams in complex organisations through critical periods of transformational change to deliver impactful results.
Sanghera built her career with Barclays Bank, Centrica and Barclaycard before joining Travis Perkins. She was previously Finance, Property & Distribution Director for Toolstation, having joined Travis Perkins in 2011 and worked in senior leadership roles in both Wickes and Travis Perkins General Merchant.
She is also a diversity, equity and inclusion champion, who has played a key role in the development of the Travis Perkins Group progressive family friendly policies. She will commence her new role in September.
