WEST YORKSHIRE: Leyland Trade has unveiled its dedicated new racing site which it claims will be the first pit stop for all British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) enthusiasts throughout the season.

The launch of the site follows Leyland's announcement that it would be continuing its sponsorship of BTCC team Airwaves BMW for a second consecutive season.

Visitors to the site will be kept up-to-date with all the latest news, race previews and reports from each BTCC event throughout the campaign.

Visitors who sign up to the exclusive VIP section of the website will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Airwaves BMW team, the Leyland mascot, Tintop, and of course, the Leyland Lovelies, who have been turning heads from Thruxton to Knockhill since bringing a splash of colour to the grid last year.

They will also have the chance to flick through exclusive image galleries, watch behind-the-scenes videos and enjoy exclusive tours of Airwaves BMW cars.

Leyland brand manager Nicki Hickman said: "Leyland has enjoyed a fantastic introduction to the exciting world of BTCC since our sponsorship started last year and we feel this website is the obvious next step. We've received so much interest from BTCC fans at circuits across the country and now the website gives these fans a one-stop shop to keep up to speed with all of our activities."

To celebrate the launch of the site, Leyland is running two exclusive competitions. There are four Motorsport in Print limited edition prints of Mat Jackson's Airwaves BMW up for grabs, signed by the man himself. All visitors have to do is register their details to be automatically entered into the prize draw.

Another competition combines Leyland's two biggest passions - motorsport and colour. Visitors will need to download a blank template of the Airwaves BMW car and design their own livery for it. The winner will then receive an exclusive AutoArt 1/18 scale BMW 320si replica model fully branded with their design.
