This strategic move by Wolseley will accelerate the development of the brand across the UK.

Renewables Centre, launched by Wolseley Group, has appointed Dan Marsden as Director of Renewables - a newly created role that underscores Wolseley’s ongoing commitment to supporting the trade through the transition to low-carbon technologies.

This strategic move will accelerate the development of the Renewables Centre brand across the UK, helping more installers access the tools, training, and expertise they need to future-proof their businesses with renewable heating solutions.

Marsden joined Wolseley in 2015 and has progressed through a series of senior roles, including within the Plumb Centre sales team and most recently as National Sales Director for Private & Domestic. He has played a key role in advancing renewables sales through strategic partnerships and utility channels.

In his new role, Marsden will lead the national rollout of Renewables Centre, oversee the integration of Renewable Equipment Solutions and enhance the brand’s offering to local installers through hands-on support and sector-specific insight.

Marsden said:  “I’m really excited to be part of something that’s genuinely supporting installers on their journey into renewables. A big part of our mission is to make that journey easier by breaking down the barriers - whether that’s product knowledge, confidence, or cost. It’s why we’re so proud to offer fully funded training. The response to our training has been phenomenal - so much so that we’ve had to add extra spaces to meet demand. It’s a great sign that the market is moving, and we’re here to help installers make the most of it.”

Marsden will report directly to the Plumbing and Heating Divisional Managing Director and will join the Wolseley Leadership Team.
