Selco Builders Warehouse has renewed its partnership with title-winning Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship for a second consecutive season following its strong debut in 2025.

In 2026, Selco will once again support the title-contending team as it strengthens its presence in the UK’s premier touring car series. The renewed collaboration will feature prominent Selco branding on the race cars and team suits, as well as a calendar packed with off-track events, including store takeover days, enhanced trackside hospitality experiences, and interactive simulator events.

The 2025 partnership saw driver Jake Hill make appearances in Selco stores, with opportunities for tradespeople to try their hand at BTCC racing via a simulator, and the opportunity for a Selco customer’s business to replace the Selco logo on the car with its own logo for one race.

The BTCC 2026 season gets into gear on 18 May at Donington Park in Leicestershire, where Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport’s Gordon Sheddon and Árón Taylor-Smith will hit the circuit. With 53 victories to his name, Sheddon currently holds the title for the most successful active driver in the championship. Taylor-Smith joins the team with over a decade of experience and 22 podiums to his name.

David Lennon, Commercial Director at Selco Builders Warehouse, said: “Our first season in the BTCC gave us a strong platform to engage with our customers, colleagues, and partners in a new and exciting way.

“Heading into year two with Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport, the focus is on being bigger and better, taking what worked well and expanding it further across our branch network and the championship calendar with a partnership that’s truly built for speed.”

Mark Blundell, Founder of Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport, added: “Selco Builders Warehouse’s first year with the team was a great example of how you kickstart a new relationship successfully. As we move into the second season of our partnership, there’s a real opportunity to deepen that connection and deliver even more meaningful engagement for Selco’s customers and teams across the UK.”
