Landscaping supplier Talasey makes two new appointments to support its expansion.
The group’s new Managing Director is Chris Whitlock, and company founder Mark Wall is now CEO.
Whitlock was previously Managing Director at Harlow Bros, and brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the building materials industry, including 12 years with the Saint-Gobain Group and 14 years with Travis Perkins. His new role involves a focus on Talasey’s operations. He said: “I am excited to be involved in guiding the next steps in Talasey Group’s journey and aim to continue to deliver the same quality product offering and exceptional customer service Talasey Group has become known for.
“I also look forward to promoting and building on core company initiatives, such as the launch of the Talasey Training Academy, which has been designed to support and deliver key benefits to the landscaping industry.”
Meanwhile, Wall’s new role sees him focusing on the growth and development of Natural Paving USA Inc, one of the company’s new product ranges which was launched in 2017. He said: “The past year has been a particularly busy and exciting time for us with our expansion into the American market, as well as the overall company rebrand which we rolled out earlier this year.
“As part of our due diligence we are now taking important steps to ensure the continued success of our UK operations, while I turn my attention to the US market. We have an ambitious target for turnover in the next five years and the appointment of Chris Whitlock as Managing Director is one of the measures we have put in place to support our strategy.”
