Aggregate Industries has appointed Kirstin McCarthy to the role of Sustainability Director within its Executive Committee.
Bringing more than 20 years’ experience in environmental management to the role, McCarthy will be responsible for accelerating the company’s journey to net-zero carbon emissions and for driving improvements of the business' sustainability.
Prior to joining Aggregate, McCarthy was Head of Sustainability at Birmingham Airport for more than six years, developing its sustainability strategy and projects that improved performance for the Airport and the Aviation Industry.
