Daniele Moretti, General Coordinator of 4BILD, an Italian network for the distribution of building materials, will present an Italian perspective at the BMF Annual Members' Conference in September, sharing his organisation’s experience across Northern Italy.
4BILD has developed one of the most advanced models in the Italian distribution sector for building materials and finishes, integrating distribution, design, and technical services and connecting manufacturers, contractors, and designers at every stage of the building process.
The 4BILD system has a strong focus on sustainability and service innovation. The company actively manages and transforms construction and demolition waste, supporting the development of a circular economy within the sector as part of the REC (Construction Circular Recovery) Consortium.
Moretti said: “I am very pleased to be taking part in the BMF Annual Members Conference. Engaging with international peers represents a valuable opportunity to share perspectives, models and insights on the evolution of building materials distribution. 4BILD was founded with the aim of connecting the supply chain and developing a more integrated, sustainable and service-oriented system. Bringing this experience into an international context is a source of pride for us, as well as a concrete opportunity for growth and exchange.”
BMF CEO John Newcomb added: “Daniele plays a pivotal role in shaping 4BILD’s network to support the construction supply chain in Italy. I am looking forward to hearing about the impact this is having and to see what lessons we can take to continue developing solutions within our own supply chains.”
The BMF Annual Members Conference and Awards will be held at the Belfry Hotel and Resort in Sutton Coldfield on 16 and 17 September.
