Kent Blaxill’s directors today (28 March) travelled through Colchester in a horse-drawn cart as part of the company’s 175-year celebrations.
The horse and cart left the company’s Layer Road store at 2.30pm and passed its old premises before reaching the town hall for 3pm.
During its long history the firm has been heavily involved with the commercial and social growth of the town.
