In continuing to expand and hone its service proposition, Bristan Group has recently appointed not one but two major senior positions.

Having previously worked as the national sales manager for the Group for over 13 years, Craig Rendall will now assume the role of merchant sales director. Drawing on his years of experience in the business, Mr Rendall will oversee the entire merchant sales division under the remit of driving the sales strategy, creating new business opportunities and providing greater support for existing merchant clients.

In addition, Debbie Phillips has been promoted to the role of head of domestic specification. Having also worked at Bristan for over a decade, most recently as a national account manager, Ms Phillips and her newly expanded team have responsibility for all key national and regional customers in the newbuild and social housing sectors in a bid to continue to generate growth in the domestic specification sector.

Both Mr Rendall and Ms Phillips are already active in their roles ahead of what promises to be another busy year ahead as Bristan Group prepares to further drive its expansion and champion product innovation in 2016.

Ian Hansell, general manager at Bristan Group, said: “2015 has been an extremely busy year for us, as we have continued to invest in honing both our product and service propositions for the merchant and domestic specification markets – and we’re confident that 2016 will prove even more fruitful.

“With this in mind, we’ve implemented these two new senior appointments in order to provide a more strategic, tailored service to these core customer groups – with both Craig and Debbie not only boasting an acute understanding of our business but an exceptional knowledge of the industry. These really are exciting times ahead for Bristan Group and we’re confident this latest move will help drive the business forward into a fresh era of success.”
