Drainfast has announced a major expansion of its delivery network with the opening of a new depot in Doncaster.
According to the company, the new depot, which is scheduled to open at the start of February, will significantly extend its reach across the north of England, allowing it to better support civils and groundworks contractors throughout Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Trevor James, Managing Director at Drainfast, explained: “We chose Doncaster very deliberately. Its proximity to the A1 and M62 gives us excellent access across Yorkshire and Lancashire, allowing us to support sites in cities like Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, Hull and York with the same market-leading service we’re known for elsewhere.”
The Doncaster depot represents an important next step in Drainfast’s continued growth and commitment to improving service levels for customers nationwide.
Once operational, the new depot will enable faster and more reliable delivery across the North, reduced lead times for live construction sites, strong local stock availability, and greater delivery certainty.
Luke Siderfin, Area Sales Manager at Drainfast, added: “Contractors don’t want excuses; they want deliveries that turn up on time and in full. Our order-by-5pm, next-day delivery promise is still genuinely market-leading, and bringing that level of service to Yorkshire and Lancashire is incredibly exciting.”
James concluded: “This expansion is an investment in the future. As construction activity continues to strengthen in the North of England, we want to be there, ready to support contractors with the speed, certainty and service that sets Drainfast apart.”
