The Jablite and Styropack board has made two new appointments to its senior leadership teams.

Paul Yeoman is the new group commercial director, responsible for Jablite and Styropack and Colin Sampson is head of product development for Jablite.

The appointment of Mr Yeoman as group commercial director is the first time that all four-board directors are responsible for both companies; this continues the integration of the two businesses, while maintaining different strategies for the two brands.

“This move towards a closer integration of Jablite and Styropack is an important step towards our long-term vision for both businesses,” explained Richard Lee, managing director of Jablite and Styropack.

“Paul’s experience in the construction sector with Hansons and his expertise in strategy and planning are a great combination. Paul’s input will significantly strengthen our leadership team.”

The appointment of Mr Sampson to lead the product development process, brings a fresh impetus to Jablite’s innovation strategy and, like Mr Yeoman’s appointment, will impact on both companies.

Mr Lee explained: “With the help of Colin’s expertise in project management and product development, we are intent on making a quantum leap in new product development across all Jablite’s customer sectors.

“Styropack is already shape moulding Jablite insulation and construction products at our Ford and Blackburn sites, so Colin will be working closely with both Styropack and Jablite operations teams.”

These two senior appointments indicate a step change for Jablite and Styropack, an aspect of the new appointments that Mr Lee is very happy to acknowledge. He said: “Not only does this re-structuring bring our businesses closer together, it is also indication of the healthy prospects for both companies. A few years ago we would have struggled to attract outstanding individuals like Paul and Colin. It is really great to be welcoming them both to the Jablite-Styropack team and I look forward to the impact I know they will both have on our businesses in the future.”
