Leisure Sinks has announced that Jonathan Horner has won the company’s 80th anniversary Big Plug Competition, which required entrants to submit photos of sink plugs in unusual, water-based locations.
Mr Horner was selected as the stand-out plug photographer from the mountain of entries submitted, and will receive £3,000 worth of Virgin vouchers. His creative photograph features an attention-seeking crab holding a plug as it takes a stroll along a beach.
The second place prize of £800 Leisure vouchers has been awarded to Lisa Bone for her bath sculpted from a watermelon, while third place prizes of Go Ape! ‘Family Experience’ tickets are winging their way to Andy McFeat, Scott Amos, Clive Blissett and Wendy Tagg.
Commenting on the contest, John Peter, director of trade sales at Leisure Sinks, said: “We received some great photos, ranging from the unusual to the bizarre, and were impressed by the creativity the entrants displayed. We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to submit an entry, and offer our congratulations to the prize winners. It’s wonderful to see Leisure Sinks attracting so much attention after 80 years of trading – and for such a high standard to be set for our next competition.”
