LONDON: The Builders’ Merchants Federation's flagship member event and AGM this year will include a keynote address on the growth of 'renewables', special merchant seminars, exhibition and merchant/supplier product syndicate sessions.
BMF Members' Day on 15 September at the Forest of Arden Hotel in Warwickshire is the flagship event which brings merchants and suppliers up to speed with the vital work the BMF has been undertaking on the industry's behalf.
This year's keynote address is from Alan Ball, managing director of PTS. It concentrates on the rapidly-growing demand for 'renewable' products – and how the industry can respond to ensure merchants remain in the driving seat as the market develops.
The day also includes a supplier exhibition, merchant/supplier product syndicate sessions, BMF annual general meeting and the annual Training Awards, as well as special seminars on e-trading, sustainability and the 'Young Merchants' group.
