The 16-strong team aim to earn much-needed funds for the charity during the recent extremely tough times.

With just over two weeks to go until the a big fund raising event for Macmillan, a 16 strong Marshalls running team has been busy training ahead of their challenge - and what a challenge it is.

Jack Clarke, Iain Blount, David Bottomley, Jose Chacoris, Phil Daniels, John Davies, Dean Dickinson, John Dyson, Louise Evans, Nick Haigh, Pete Hallitt, Matt Johnston, Andrew Miller, Adam Leach, Nick Sharpe and Mark Williams are running a socially distanced style between Marshalls' Brookfoot and Eaglescliffe sites on Friday 23 October, totalling a staggering 82 miles.

Their aim is to raise awareness, earn some much-needed funds for Macmillan, and celebrate the charity's ongoing work through the recent extremely tough times.

The team would like to thank everyone who has already been kind enough to donate. There’s still time to back them and any donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated. Click here to show your support - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/marshallsleedshalfmarathon
