Peppard Building Supplies has launched a new website. The builders’ merchant says the move will help it compete with industry bigger names.

The website at includes an Ask the Expert section where questions are answered within 24 hours on a working day.

Peppard plans online trading within a few years. Last year the company set up Facebook and Twitter accounts to promote special offers and provide a forum for messages, feedback and pictures of completed projects. But it still provides a newsletter sent by mail and available in-store.
