Pulsar, a manufacturer of high-visibility and protective workwear, has appointed Lisa Cunningham-Sherret to the newly created role of Head of Product, Ethics, Compliance & Sustainability (PECS).

Cunningham-Sherret joins from Mountain Warehouse, with over 28 years of experience across design, product and ESG. During her 14 years at Jermyn Street Design, she led the business to B Corp certification; a rigorous benchmark reflecting her drive to raise standards and deliver real change.

From hands-on design through to product development and strategic leadership, Cunningham-Sherret brings a complete, end-to-end understanding of the product lifecycle. Each stage is built on the last, bringing together the skills and perspective that now align naturally with the PECS role.

Her focus is on putting the structure in place to support future growth by improving processes, increasing visibility, and developing closer relationships across the supply chain.

“We’ve got a strong foundation and a great history,” Cunningham-Sherret explained. “Now it’s about taking that further by improving, evolving, and taking the product forward. The way people work has changed and so have their expectations. What they wear to work needs to offer the same level of comfort and performance they’ve come to expect from their off-duty clothing.”

Pulsar Managing Director Stuart Jukes thinks this appointment signals a clear shift in momentum and a more ambitious, forward-looking approach for the business. He said: “We’re not standing still. Lisa brings the expertise, mindset, and drive to help take us to the next phase.

"This marks a new chapter for the brand, with a clear ambition to advance product development while continuing to raise standards through sustainable innovation and garment performance."
