Redring has appointed Richard Braid as head of water heating and showers, signaling the company’s intent for significant growth.

Mr Braid brings with him 20 years of industry experience to the role, with his last position being national business development manager at Bristan, and boasts a wealth of knowledge of the market and distribution channels. His responsibilities include overseeing the brand’s sales strategy, but also having a direct input on Redring’s shower and water heating marketing.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Braid said: “As I have hands on experience in both sales and marketing roles, the opportunity to work across both disciplines for such a well known brand is one that really excites me. Although Redring’s range of industry leading electric showers is what the brand is best known for, we hold a point of difference in the market due to the breadth of our water heating portfolio, and with this brings great opportunity for business development.

“My goal is to ensure that the sales team successfully develops and executes the brand’s growth strategy, enabling Redring to be a key supplier to both wholesalers and merchants across the UK, whether they are key local independents or big nationwide chains.”
