Regatta Professional is the first to take advantage of OnePlace’s active stock feed feature, which allows NMBS members to see up-to-date information on the available stocks of a product before placing an order.

Regatta Professional has become the latest supplier to join the NMBS OnePlace B2B ordering and Product Information Management platform – and the first to offer active stock feed information to NMBS members.

NMBS’ OnePlace platform offers better trading efficiencies for NMBS members and suppliers, by allowing independent merchants to purchase products online from a wide range of industry leading suppliers.

Members can also use OnePlace to access order acknowledgements and delivery notes, as well as to download product data and integrate it into their own back office or e-commerce systems.

Regatta Professional provides premium workwear and corporate clothing for every line of work, including a comprehensive choice of workwear and accessories suitable for trade professionals. The company joined OnePlace in January 2022 and has already made more than 4,500 of its products available to purchase – with more expected to come online in the coming months.

Sarah Francis, Accounts Manager – Merchants and Agricultural at Regatta Professional, said: “We have been keen to get involved with OnePlace for some time. It allows members to get detailed information on the full Regatta Professional workwear ranges and styles. Members can place orders, view live stock availability, check out pricing and have product data and information all at their fingertips.

“Ellie Harris and Reece Gerrard at NMBS have really helped move this project along, working closely with our UK Customer Support Manager and IT team. We are delighted to be live on the platform.”

As well as being the newest supplier to join NMBS’ industry leading OnePlace platform, Regatta Professional is the first to take advantage of OnePlace’s active stock feed feature, which allows NMBS members to see up-to-date information on the available stocks of a product before placing an order.

This means merchants will always know whether a particular Regatta Professional product is in stock, and how many are available, giving them accurate delivery times and the knowledge that they will not be disappointed by an unexpected delay.

The stock levels are updated using an automated API link between the OnePlace system and Regatta Professional’s own database, which is updated regularly each day to ensure stock levels remain accurate.

If a product is showing as in stock, the independent merchant can place the order immediately. If a product is showing as out of stock, they will still be able to place the order if they wish, and it will be dispatched as soon as it becomes available. Merchants can also contact the supplier through OnePlace to request an estimated dispatch update.

Gerrard, NMBS E-Commerce Manager, said: “Active stock levels are very simple and easy for NMBS OnePlace Suppliers to set up, and they don’t have to show exact stock levels; they can also be set to show simply whether or not a product is in stock.

“Making stock levels visible to NMBS members gives them more confidence when they place an order, and can be the reason why a general enquiry or search for information is converted to a definite sale.”
