Rudridge is the new sponsor of the Haro 365 BMX racing team, which is gearing up for the World Championships in Belgium this year.

The team of extreme riders including both male and female competitors, some as young as seven years old, regularly tour and contend in regional, national and international competitions.

Several of the bikers rank in the UK top 10 for their category and are hoping for victory at the International tournament taking place at the Zolder Circuit in Belgium from 17 to 25 July.

Bryan Potter who works for Rudridge Gravesend customer, Tony Kirwan Contractors, manages the riders and has been involved since HARO 365 BMX formed in 2012. He said: “It’s a really exciting time for the team and we are delighted to have Rudridge on-board for a calendar full of competitions in 2015. We have some very skilled racers among us who take life on the tracks seriously but know how to have fun off the tracks.”

The Rudridge logo will soon be sported on the team’s new kit.

The local track is at Cyclopark in Gravesend and some of the dedicated Haro 365 racers travel from as far as Scotland to join the team.

Richard Milton, branch manager at Rudridge in Gravesend, said: “As a firm we think it’s important to support young people locally and want to encourage those involved in competitive sports. Haro 365 BMX is an active team, we are looking forward to seeing them progress as they compete in the British National Series and represent the county later this year in Belguim.”
