Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS), part of the Travis Perkins Group, is offering customers the opportunity to fast track their Green Deal PAS 2030 accreditation for gas and oil heating.

Working with PPL Training and NICEIC, SBS customers only require their onsite installation assessment to complete the process on the same day as the PAS 2030 training course.

This offering, which cuts up to six weeks off the standard accreditation process, allows customers to offer Green Deal installation within a shorter space of time than previously possible.

As a staged assessment process, the cost of certification can be spread over time with the full amount only payable once a relevant job is confirmed. This is backed by the expertise of the SBS team, alongside the 12 months Easy Green Deal support and mentoring offered as part of the PAS 2030 course.

Nick Wright, Green Deal project manager at NICEIC, said: “This new approach to certification takes contractors a step closer to the potential new business that the Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation represent. They will benefit from a streamlined process to attain the PAS 2030 certification, meaning they can get back out to their own customers as soon as possible.”

Eimear Montague, service development manager for SBS, added: “We have been working closely with PPL Training and NICEIC to ensure the certification process is accelerated, accessible, and efficient for all of our customers. We recognise that the greatest barrier to training can be the time that needs to be invested. This course provides the ideal solution.”
