SRC Group is extending its support to its charity partner, the Lighthouse Charity and has introduced a newly branded tipper featuring the charity’s logo and helpline number.
The vehicle will be based at the company’s Barking site and will operate across London and the wider region, carrying the charity’s message directly into the communities and construction sites the industry serves every day.
Within the construction industry, long hours, demanding working environments and time away from home can place significant pressure on workers and their families. The Lighthouse Charity play a vital role in ensuring those working across the sector have access to confidential support when they need it most.
SRC Group says it is proud to support the Lighthouse Charity and play a small part in helping raise awareness of the support available to people across the industry.
Oliver Rees, Managing Director at SRC Group, said: "The Lighthouse Charity does incredibly important work supporting people across our industry and their families. Construction can be a tough environment and it’s vital that people know there is somewhere to turn if they need support.
"Having the charity’s message travelling around on one of our vehicles felt like a simple but effective way of helping raise awareness across the areas we operate in."
Sarah Bolton, CEO of the Lighthouse Charity, added: “We are absolutely delighted with this amazing gesture from SRC Group. What better way to extend the message of support to our construction community, than by sharing our charity information proudly on a specially branded tipper. It’s incredibly eye catching and I have no doubt that this will be the talk of every site that it visits. Thank you to everyone at SRC for making this possible”.
By carrying the Lighthouse Charity message out on the road each day, SRC Group hopes the vehicle will help keep the charity visible within the industry and encourage more people to learn about the support available.
