More than 80 senior representatives from top manufacturers were publicly thanked for their support and commitment to Pipe Center and Climate Center at the distributor’s annual conference.

The manufacturers were invited to attend the company’s two-day national roadshow, held at Hinckley in Leicestershire, which included an exhibition of the latest products for the building services and air conditioning and refrigeration industry.

Companies represented included leading players such as Advanced Engineering, A-Gas, Buderus, Danfoss, Flamco, GEA Searle, Geberit and Ideal. For the first time, the line-up also included senior representatives from Carrier Air Conditioning, whose chillers are now being distributed following a ground-breaking agreement.

Scott Craig, sales and marketing director, said: “The support and commitment shown to us over the past year by our leading suppliers has been absolutely tremendous. It has helped us win new business, gain market share from competitors and further improve the level of service to customers.”

With the theme of the conference being “winning”, some 84 representatives of manufacturers were invited on stage, and given a standing ovation by Pipe Center and Climate Center staff before attending a gala evening meal.

Scott Craig added: “We highly value the excellent working relationships and co-operation between Pipe Center and Climate Center staff and our suppliers.

“It is something we have worked hard at developing and the fruits are plain for all to see. We look forward to continuing to work with our suppliers, and building on our productive partnerships to the benefit of all.”
