TFS’ former Commercial Director has been promoted to Managing Director.
After working for the business-to-business processor of panel and timber products for the last ten years, Howard Morris has been appointed Managing Director, enabling him to enhance and develop the company’s builders’ merchant services.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the UK construction and timber industries, Howard plans to evolve TFS’ process offerings going forward in line with market demand.
He said: “Having worked extensively within the timber industry and at TFS for the last ten years, I have witnessed the evolution of construction industry. Value engineering being the euphemism for cost reduction but improved quality.
“TFS understand that effectively managing inventory is one of the biggest challenges in the merchant industry and in many cases, this has led to commoditisation.
“Our team is our most valuable asset, and I strongly believe that continued personal development is the key to a successful business. Our team consists of dedicated and highly motivated individuals who enjoy learning new things and developing their skills.”
