Travis Perkins has launched its new website, created by Amaze, to support the presentation of the Group’s 2013 full-year results by new chief executive officer John Carter.
Improved user experience has been central to the website’s design. It ensures that usability across stakeholder groups is seamless, regardless of the device being used, and the content and imagery have been significantly updated to create a more visual and engaging experience. All of this has been underpinned by a robust analytics framework, to enable the easy tracking of delivery against key performance indicators across the organisation.
Norman Bell, strategy and IT director, said: “We are thrilled to be introducing our new website to all our stakeholders and looking forward to their feedback. Amaze’s technical strength and digital expertise has helped us to create a site that is a much clearer reflection of the people behind our business – a site that demonstrates our commitment to being a leader in an ever-changing marketplace.”
Natalie Gross, chief executive officer at Amaze, said: “This has been a great project to work on, and ensures that Travis Perkins is at the forefront of digital within the building and construction industry. We've applied our expertise to really put Travis Perkins' stakeholders at the heart of the digital user experience. We look forward to building on this success across all of the business' other digital channels as part of its ongoing digital strategy.”
